I like the look of the Eversolo T10 as its a full separate and a nice big screen but its a Transport which means more expense buying a separate DAC unless you use your own DAC of your CD player but he was using the Eversolo Z10 DAC .

Then he was talking about Eversolo bring out there own Reference clocks which some of the video's I've watched the reviewer can not notice any difference if separate clocks are used which adds more expense if you went that far .

The point is this all adds up and not just about buying a T10 so a lot of me thinks your probably best off spending 5-6k on a streamer that dose all theses things as standard .

I disagree with the reviewer on the following points.
Firstly operationally the T10 is overall more responsive and quicker.
Secondly, having compared the T8 and T10 using four DACs from different manufacturers (SPL Audio Diamond DAC, Denafrips Audio Ares 15th, EverSolo Audio DAC-Z10 and EMM Labs/Meitner Audio MA3) I can say that the results have been consistent. It is the T8 that has the somewhat richer presentation whereas the T10 is far more accurate.
Anyway, the overall performance quality of the T10 is more detailed, cleaner, faster, punchier and crucially still natural. As good as the T8 is however in comparison to the T10, the T8 sounds somewhat narrow and closed in.
If budget permits then the T10 is worth the premium.
Fair enough it's ok to disagree with other reviewers. My point being a DAC upgrade would make more sense than upgrading something like a T8.
Like mentioned in the review, the upgrade from the T8 to the T10 would largely depend on what digital output used when connecting to a DAC.

In the next few months a new one arrives which makes the T10 sound average. And so on and so forth. Me personally in a system costing less than 20k the difference well be minimal to say the least. As per the T10 being faster, will not be much of a worry for many, because Eversolos apps in general are fast.

Depending on system synergy some may even prefer the richer sound of the T8. The new DMP- A8 GEN 2 MASTER EDITION now includes the new clock in the T10 anyway. If buying new without having the T8 then the T10 may make sense. But if already a owner of the T8, it's not worth the upgrade in my opinion. That's my take, but everyone to their own.

T10 being faster
The T10 and the T8 are the same speed on the interface even when the T10 meant to be but that video i posted he used the screen on both and he said they felt the same speed so wouldn't worry about .

I just have the cheap Wiim ultra that got me going on streaming so for me the T10 makes sense .

If you prefer the T10 go for that. 🙂
