I don't know if anyone was immitating their design. I always thought that Prestiges are generally based on PMCs and ATCs - design and driver-wise.

So when they say ‘imitated by others’ perhaps they mean PMC and ATC are just copying them and taking all the credit 😃

I though about it but it is just too far and they are way too heavy, although, never say never...

Well that's enough for tonight am knackered. But why is black such a dust magnet.
 
Still a few things to do, new chair come end of March, them I can really get going.
 
Got some work to do on speakers stands over the weekend as well.
But the man cave and the house is getting there.

Make it happen, be brilliant. You’ll be popular 😉 And those are nothing but a peanut compared to what some bring 😃 They are certainly manageable.
 
I’ve been to ‘I’ve lost count’ many shows now, not as many as some and its got further away, still made the last two to exhibit, and it’s a 5-6 hrs drive for me each way. And whilst having had some health challenges to say the least as well, the Mav show is always worth a visit, as a visitor or even more respect as a exhibitor, because you are making it happen. Tony one of the mods on here, is even further I believe, and substantially further ‘time wise’ IIRC.
 
As you say never say never, always keep the option open 😉

Well added a sub to the Tiny Budget System. Was a bit shocked it didn't take me long to set up and sound right.
   Anyway went into full vampire mode, shutters down, lights off, and had a great listening session.
   This is the best I have heard this system, and I was in the right mood for it.

Sounds like your having fun and I hope you got you older speakers for a real steal ,makes things sound better , several years back I took a proper bet on a set of old Sony things I think there rather good ,my ears like then ,they weren't cheap in the end but certainly not a lot just a 100 mile round trip considerable tress finding the place etc , any way I seem to have gotten away with it . Old Sony G4 three way things . Ugly from the ugly tree . Rich
