Cyrus 2 (Serial Number 205133c) and PSX (Serial Number C306240).

The PSX is all metal the Cyrus 2 is the metal base / plastic upper shell variant.

I have had these for about 15 years but having now upgraded the living room system from SF Concertinos (with which this combo absolutely sang) to SF Olympica Nova 2s (which need a bigger amp) it’s time for them to find a new home.

Both have had full fat refurbishments from ARS in Woodbridge the Cyrus 2 in 2018 (Invoice 12-03868) at a cost of £289 and the PSX in 2019 (invoice 12-04044) at a cost of £64 at which time the latter was fitted with a longer connecting lead allowing for more flexible placement.

They are fully working and sound splendid but are cosmetically compromised. See photos. The PSX has some paint peeled off the top. On the Cyrus 2 the plastic connecting lugs attaching the sides of the front panel to the main shell have failed. The ones on the bottom are still holding.

 

Price for the pair thus £300 rather than more.
